Nintendo's Satoru Iwata and Shigeru Miyamoto - Image 1The stock market has a very high appraisal rating for Nintendo, and the major gaming company is now rated the best performer among other Japanese companies. In anticipation of their full-year profit forecast to be delivered tomorrow, Nintendo has been given a "Buy" rating. To be given a "Buy" rating means that the stocks have a high earn rate, and thus are good to buy.

Analyst Hiroshi Kamide of KBC Securities Japan has a positive outlook on Nintendo's performance. "An upward revision of full-year earnings targets is likely. It's natural that expectations are high ahead of the year-end shopping season," he said.

So far, the Wii has outsold its rival consoles Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the next-gen race. Even Nintendo of America's Reggie Fils-Aime has announced that there will be Wii shortage in the coming holidays, proof that Nintendo's motion-sensitive console is still selling like hotcakes all over the world.

Further proof of their success is the fact that Fils-Aime has been awarded as the Grand Marketer of the Year, and Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto was given the Economist's Innovation Award by redefining the concept of gaming with the Wii and Nintendo.
