It's a first person shooter-slasher starring everybody's favorite robots. What's not to like, right? The allure of getting into the cockpit of a mobile suit and getting down and dirty against enemies in Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Front 0079 certainly sounds like a game worth playing.
Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Front 0079 that aims to entice robot lovers to grab the video game when it comes out (even if we have to import it). How so? By filling the screen with first-person action against Zaku units, that's what! From firing lasers at unsuspecting foes to slashing your beam saber across torsos, you'll definitely get a feel for the action that's inherent in Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Front 0079. In any case, keep checking QJ for more gameplay videos and information of MS Front 0079 as we get them. For now, enjoy the video! |

What we have here for you today are three new Famitsu scans of video game Mobile Suit Gundam MS Front 0079, taken by online site True Gaming. It should be remembered that Namco Bandai recently reiterated its dedication to the mecha-based franchise as it promised to bring more titles to be released on the Nintendo Wii.
We know some of you have tried other Gundam games before but what separates MS Front 0079 from the rest is that Namco Bandai set the events in this game during the The One Year War. Those familiar with the franchise know well that this time period is one of the fiercest and and most violent in the Gundam storyline. Aside from Mobile Suit Gundam MS Front 0079, it should be remembered that Namco Bandai mentioned as well that it will be developing another Gundam title based on SD Gundam G Generation. Aside from that, a fighting game is also being planned that should keep Wii owners and Gundam fans occupied when they all come out. In the meantime, just enjoy the magazine scans! |

Here's an opening salvo of the latest in screenshot joy of the highly-anticipated Mobile Suit Gundam MS Front 0079 for the Nintendo Wii. We get you locked and loaded with what's to expect with the game that puts you directly in the pilot's seat as the One Year War rages on. FIGHT!
Looking at the screenshots, the graphics are looking very solid, with the Gundams very detailed and reassuringly faithful to their original designs. The explosion and particle effects are very awesome to look at, as well as the bright hues creating a very convincing world yet still having that anime feel to it. Enemies here look particularly menacing - we wouldn't want to be anywhere near the business end of that beam saber. Ouch. A very impressive title from Namco Bandai indeed. Enjoy the eye candy! More screenshots after the jump! |

For those who must have every tidbit of information on Namco Bandai's upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam MS Front 0079 for the Wii, listen up. A poster on NeoGAF put up two scans of the game from Famitsu, and quite frankly it's looking great.
Since our resident Japanese translator is not in at the moment, we really can't tell you much about the scans. However, the screenshots in the scans show some of the customization options available in the game as well as a survival mode. There also appears to be a versus mode with up to three units per side going at it. Those who have a collector streak might want to note the presence of a gallery feature. That said, this game is slated for a Japan release this July 28. No word yet on the availability of this game in the U.S. so you might have to import this game if you want to play it. Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates on Mobile Suit Gundam MS Front 0079. |

Good news for mecha fanatics! Bandai, owner of one of the most popular mecha franchises in the world, has just announced that they'll be making multiple Gundam titles for the Nintendo Wii. The company behind famous hits such as the Naruto and Dragon Ball Z franchises popped the surprise just today, along with a final release date for the highly-anticipated Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Front 0079 - that being July 26 of this year. Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Front 0079 is the latest of the many videogames based on the franchise, and is touted to bring the ferocity of The One Year War - an extremely violent event in the Gundam storyline - to Nintendo Wii players worldwide. The Gundam joy doesn't end there. Without revealing too many details, Namco Bandai also announced that they'll be bring an SD Gundam G Generation title to Ninty's shiny console as well - accompanied by a Gundam combat game they're being mum about. Perhaps a versus game, like the pseudo-3D fighters on the original PlayStation? Ahh, nostalgia! We can only hope. Updates as we get them! |

When it comes to Gundam goodness, count on us to find the newest screenshots as they come. We've got 27 new screenshots of Namco Bandai's Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Front 0079 for you to look at, and the game certainly looks like it's doing justice to the Gundam name on the Wii. In addition to watching the action from a third-person point of view, you'll also notice that some of the battles take place in first-person. That Gundam lunging towards the screen with its sword at the ready, for example? It's aiming for you. Zakus, Guntanks, and shining white Gundams abound after the jump. In the meantime, here are some teasers to get you started. Enjoy! YAY for violence! More robot hacking after the jump! |

We got a couple of new magazine scans of Mobile Suit Gundam: MS Front 0079, Namco Bandai's new Gundam title for the Nintendo Wii video game console. This latest entry in the Gundam franchise brings the principal figures in the One Year War to next gen consoles.
The game is reportedly 80% complete, so more news should be surfacing in the coming months. These scans are from the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, and it looks like it's a bit of a backgrounder on some of the characters and mobile suits found in the game. Then again, we don't speak Japanese so we could be wrong. Anyway, check out the scans. You'll also notice that the first scan has a couple of images from Konami's newly-announced Wii title Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball Wii on the lower right. |
