With today's first person shooters going for more of a sci-fi/modern look, it's always good to get your blood pumping with some old-fashioned wartime FPS action - and Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for the Nintendo Wii and Sony PlayStation Portable is just the thing to get us that fix. Hearken back with Electronic Arts' game to the good old days when bullets were made out of good old steel, and reloading means shoving a fresh clip into your gun, and not a battery.

So, what's new with this latest trailer of Medal of Honor Heroes 2 from Electronic Arts? Online multiplayer, that's what! Not only will you be able to pit your skills against 31 other players in a single game online, but you'll be able to track your progress and see just where you rank in Medal of Honor Heroes 2's online leaderboards and statistics tracking. Here's hoping that they also track just what weapon you're the most deadly with, as there's nothing quite like being the best handgun player around. Pistol whip, baby!

Enjoy the video!

A new video for Medal of Honor Heroes 2 explains the functions of the Wii Zapper in the campaign, Arcade and multiplayer modes of the game. The Wii version of Medal of Honor Heroes 2 supports up to 32 people in multiplayer mode. The game also contains the Wii Arcade Mode; an added feature that lets players enjoy the best thing about a shooter: shooting.

The video demonstrates the functionality and ease of use of the zapper for the game in both multiplayer and Arcade mode. The Arcade Mode is a rail shooter where the game takes care of your movements, all you have to do is point and shoot. It's different in the other modes where you have to use the analog stick of the Nunchuk to control movements.

Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (Wii, PSP) will be released, as the video confirms, sometime in mid-November.
