MadWorld - Image 1While we all quite enjoy the unrestricted use of the chainsaw in MadWorld, GameStop managed to find an even better use for it than your poor enemies. They took it and hacked that retail price down to a more manageable US$ 30.

Media Watchdog Disappointed with Nintendo over MadWorld - Image 1 Bad Nintendo, bad. You made the NIMF angry. The media watchdog group has expressed disappointment with the big N over allowing ultra-violent game MadWorld to be published on the Wii, practically accusing the console of no longer being family friendly.

Now who wants to buy the game even more? Me me me me me!

MadWorld - Image 1Sega just released a video of MadWorld, splattered all red for Valentine's too. It's almost a crime to have so much blood in a Wii game. Almost.

Check out a gameplay vid of MadWorld after the link.

MadWorld - Image 1Forget the March 31 date mentioned in the last MadWorld update. Sega and Platinum Games will be bringing the ultra-violent game to North America three weeks earlier than that.

BBFC Clears MadWorld With 18 Rating - Image 1 Sorry kids, but this is one Wii game you won't get your hands on. Ultra-violent game MadWorld gets the ok sign for the UK's BBFC and now comes with a solid 18 rating. A corresponding M rating is expected for the game in the US.

Nintendo Reveals 2009 Lineup - Image 1After a rather tame period of releases from Nintendo (Wii Music failed to rock my world), things may finally be looking up for 2009. They have a lot of games lined-up, including Pokemon Platinum and Chinatown Wars for the DS, while the Wii gets MadWorld and some retro action with GameCube upgrades.

MadWorldAnd some say the Wii isn't hardcore. The entire game may be set in a black-and-white (and red) world, but MadWorld still manages to be colorful with all the blood and guts you can chuck at a masochistic prude. It reminds me a lot of how Wild9 works - find as many ways you can to kill, maim, and torture your enemies. Feels just like Christmas, ya? Greeting everyone a merry Christmas is MadWorld protagonist Jack - yeah, just Jack. This trailer's even got Mr. Movie Trailer doing voice-overs.

Mediawatch-UK speaks out against gamer critics - Image 1The Wii was already deprived of Grand Theft Auto IV and now Mediawatch UK wants to have MadWorld banned from it too - in Britain, at least. After declaring that they wanted the BBFC to deny the game a rating though, they received a number of emails to "shut the f- up," and others to that extent.

And Mediawatch's reaction? Read about it in the full article.
