Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime has thrown down the gauntlet. In the newest GTTV episode, he predicted that New Super Mario Bros. Wii will outsell Modern Warfare 2 on a single platform. Oh, and he says there's no Wii HD.

In a time of high-definition graphics and consoles that can give PCs a run for their money, the Wii has stood out as the little console that could. In the face of developer Infinity Ward's drive for bigger and better cinematic gaming experiences, however, it's the little console that couldn't.

Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino thinks games are evil. He's said it before, and he's not afraid to say it again. This time, however, he does give credit to what he believes are technological advancements brought forth by video game hardware.

IndustryGamers recently caught up with Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto in NYC, where the gaming exec shared his thoughts on high definition gaming. While he said nothing that would point us to a Wii HD, we now have more reason to believe that Nintendo isn't gonna sit on its motion-control laurels and leave the graphics as they are. Miyamoto himself has confirmed - "Nintendo's games move along in step with the progression of technology."

Nintendo head honcho Reggie Fils-aime was interviewed in CNBC, and here he talked about what they, as a company, have to do in order to sustain the phenomenal interest of consumers in their product.
