Longtime game publishers Hudson have dropped some details on their upcoming releases for Nintendo's WiiWare service. At the forefront are Karaoke Joysound and Alien Crush. Essentially, Karaoke Joysound will give Wii owners the same pleasure of singing reminiscent of Japanese sushi bars right in their own living rooms. With a USB microphone, anyone can start belting out tunes like it's nobody's business. Even more impressive is Hudson's promise to deliver 20,000 songs upon Karaoke Joysound's launch. If you don't think that's enough, how about the fact that the devs will add a thousand more per month? A billing system is currently being worked out for the game's US release. This is certainly a nice way to generate a good genre mix on the WiiWare menu. Pinball game Alien Crush is also coming. Some of you may remember it from either the old days or by its Virtual Console incarnation, but what the WiiWare has to offer will redefine your memories of it. It'll be redone from the visuals up in order to give it a look more relevant to the times. The trifecta of screenshots above show us a glimpse of the remastered Alien Crush. We must say that it's looking real sharp, and we hope it packs in more features than ever to make it more addictive than ever. |

» Sweet...
I am all about a new (remake) of Alien Crush.
The first one was a fantastic pinball game... and for it's time, the graphics, sounds and music were top notch.
It looks like they're going to keep some of the H.R. Geiger themed tables... that's a very good thing.
