PES series creator Shingo "Seabass" Takatsuka recently assured football fans that Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 (PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, Wii, PC, PS2) will have a more robust online system compared to last year's release, considered by many PES fans to be a disaster in the online front. Wiibrew developer CashMan has a new update out for his Wii Quizz homebrew game. This is basically a quiz game for the Wii console with a couple of different gameplay modes, but you probably got that just from the title.

Time to take out your wallets gamers, Toys 'R' Us is once again offering a buy-2-get-1 deal, a promo which they usually hold this time of the year. Wiibrew developer lnuxguy has released the latest version of WiiDoom, the Doom port for the Wii. Not a lot of changes in this version, but they are major changes nevertheless so you might still want to upgrade - if only to get the new crosshair feature. More details after the link.

Have you guys noticed that platforms seem to have a new strategy of grabbing exclusive downloadable content for games? Well, the strategy worked for the Xbox 360 when they bagged exclusive DLC for Grand Theft Auto IV. One analyst says that this is just the beginning. Eventually, exclusive DLC might become the latest battlefield among the consoles.
