Geometry Wars: Galaxies Wii, DS hit gold status, arrives later this month - Image 1Publisher Sierra Entertainment sends out word that Kuju Entertainment's Geometry Wars: Galaxies for Nintendo DS and Wii has just hit gold status thereby making it ready for mass production. Sierra is also announcing that the game will be available beginning November 20 for Wii and on November 27 for DS.

Aside from utilizing each of the console's control scheme, Geometry Wars: Galaxies also comes with a new single-player campaign, multiplayer mode, and WiFi connectivity for the Wii and DS. This will provide users with bonus levels and content as well as a full copy of Xbox Live Arcade game Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved.

"We are excited to provide in Geometry Wars: Galaxies more than 60 times the amount of content than Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved with new levels, controls, weapons and enemies," commented Sierra Entertainment VP for Global Marketing Al Simone. The Wii version of the game will cost for US$ 39.99 while the DS version will retail for US$ 29.99.
