A new build is out for the Genesis Plus Project for the Wii, courtesy of Wii homebrew developer Eke-Eke. In case you are not familiar with the the project (also known as GenPlus), this is a Sega Genesis Emulator for both the Wii and the GameCube, a port of the Genesis Plus emulator from Charles MacDonald.
There are several great new updates in this build, but probably the biggest update is added support for controllers. The program now supports up to 8 players, and each player can use a different controller device, such as a GameCube pad or a Wiimote. There is also now added support for horizontal Wiimote handling in the menu. Note though, that some expansion controllers (the Nunchuk or Classic) sometimes aren't detected. The dev advises to disconnect and then reconnect it to the Wiimote. Be sure to read the documentation included in the download for more information about the program, including installation, controls, and file management. Here's the changelog: [Genesis]

» Duplicate rom names
Some of the other emulators but mostly Genesis Plus, I get duplicate rom names that start with ._ in which do not run. Why is this? There is only one rom for each game in the folder. Can anyone help?
