Gameloft announces special version of Block Breaker Deluxe for WiiWare - Image 1

Mobile games developer Gameloft has announced that a special version of Block Breaker Deluxe, originally a Breakout mobile clone of immense popularity, will be debuting on Nintendo's newly launched WiiWare service in Japan. The new version should set interested gamers aback by 800 Wii Points and nothing more. Of course, Gameloft has expressed its plans to release the game in Europe and North America as well, as soon as WiiWare launches in those regions.

The new version of Block Breaker Deluxe for the Nintendo Wii will include the standard fare Wii remote motion-sensing controls, though Gameloft also promises two-player simultaneous play for paired up fun. But Gameloft is also known for making games that cater to a more mature audience. And in Block Breaker Deluxe, the mobile game developer adds a little of that spice in there - in the form of an antagonistic, and very attractive, female pair.

Block Breaker Deluxe is scheduled to go up by April, though an exact date hasn't been revealed. What is sure, however, is that the screens you see below are the same ones the gamers in the east will be watching when they grab the casual video game next month. More updates as we get them.
