Don’t pass out or anything. This is really JUST a rumor at
this point and we have no reason to believe it’s true. But that said,
one of the things floating around GC 2006 right now is that Nintendo
may announce a new Kid Icarus for Wii. Again, a rumor. R-U-M-O-R. And it’s more
likely to be false than not, which is why I’m merely posting it to the
boards right now. Say it with me: Rumor. Good. Now that we have that out of the way, sure would be pretty cool if it could, by some chance, turn out to be true. Matt |

I hope so because I played it on old NES and finished the game. It was fun and it should bring back to the next sequel or a brand new game for Wii. :)

It's about time QJ announced this rumor. Sure it wasn't announced by Matt, but this has been going on ever since Nintendo revealed the Brawl trailer.
Nintendo makes great Action/Adventure games (especially when swords are involved), and it's about high time that Icarus got another game (I guess he was in competition with Metroid at the time, and it ruled out that Samus was more popular than him). It's been, what? 7 systems (handhelds included) since the NES. Cut the boy a break.
