Sonic Team former head Yuji Naka working on a Wii game - Image 1

Video game designer and programmer Sega programmers/designers. He now heads a new game developing studio, Prope">Yuji Naka is mostly known for heading the Sonic Team  and programming the first ever Sonic the Hedgehog game. His efforts with the original Sega Saturn version of NiGHTS are also remarkable even up to today.

At the young age of 42, one can not simply imagine Naka retiring anytime soon. However, the designer has already categorically mentioned before that he is not interested in "revisiting" past projects.

This brings us now to the latest development about Yuji Naka's new video game development studio PROPE Ltd. According to the company's official website, they are currently working on a yet-to-be disclosed Nintendo Wii game.

Aside from that, we also learned that PROPE is working for and is partially funded by Sega. It was also mentioned that they have a total of 37 employees but plan to hit 50 as soon as possible to accommodate more projects.

This really is something exciting not only for Nintendo Wii owners but for those who grew up playing NiGHTS and Sonic. We'll update you regarding the matter as soon as something new comes up.
