Super Turrican - Image 1Gamers based in Europe and Australia will be getting Super Turrican (SNES) and Psychosis (TurboGrafx-16) on the Wii Virtual Console service. Both games are side-scrolling shooters that will probably appeal to twitch gamers in the Wii community.

Super Turrican, released by Factor 5 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, saw the addition of a couple of features to the Turrican series that impacted the gameplay of the series in a very good way.

The new weapons, a grappling arm and  freeze beam, added a layer of strategy that was previously unheard of from the series. If you plan on downloading this game, it can be had for 800 Wii points.

Psychosis, from NAXAT Soft, is a side scrolling shooter which takes place inside the mind of a man slowly being taken over by a nefarious being known as Devil Ugar. Players are put in command of a dream ship with a pair of indestructible satellites which can be positioned around the vehicle to help defeat the enemy. You can pick up a copy of this game for 600 Wii points.
