Hey, guys. How about another break from all the serious stuff going on? The Nintendo family is all about fun and warm hugs, after all, ain't it? Here's a neat little video to start your day with a good hearty laugh.
Say, what do you get when you combine a human-sized Elebits mascot, a pushcart team, and a bunch of Japanese kids together? The simple fact that the Japanese are involved is probably enough to get you guys giggling like a third-grader high on some Pez. You might think it's all cutesy-wutesy when a light-blue Elebit starts touring (what seems to be) an airport, but be warned: chaos is just a zap away!
Help me! I'm fallin' an' I can't get up!
The horror! No anti-gravity physics gun can save you now. Just as the Elebit is about to be wheeled off, it loses its balance and slaps a kid square on the face with its floppy ear. Looks like someone took a mighty swig of sake before jumping into that super-sized sparky. And notice its freaky Elebit-dance as, when it's finally taken down the lobby, it sways its head - bobbing left, bobbing right, with an orange ball precariously sitting on top - and flaps its arm stumps like an over-excited fat canary.
Kidding aside, don't you just love the Japanese? Nice marketing move on the part of Konami! Their campaign seems to be built around the concept of: If you can't beat them, nor join them... why not smother them with cuteness?
