Street Fighter II Turbo - Image 1 Final Fight on the Super SNES - Image 1

Over at the gleaming yellow site of the ESRB, its updated pages reveal that there will be two more classics heading towards the Wii's Virtual Console. These video games, both from Capcom, would be Final Fight and Street Fighter II Turbo.

Final Fight is what you may call Street Fighter's "cousin", since the two series are set in the same universe. Originally, Final Fight was launched as an arcade game. But obviously, its success can't be contained, hence its port to several platforms such as the Super SNES, Sega Mega-CD and Game Boy Advance. The ESRB rates it with an E for Everyone, though admittedly, its content is quite violent.

Street Fighter II Turbo, on the other hand, is basically the revamped version of the Championship Edition. Otherwise known as Street Fighter II Dash Turbo in Japan, Street Fighter II Turbo brought in faster gameplay, new moves for many characters (including those that can now be performed in mid-air), as well as spankin' new color palettes for all characters. Like Final Fight, it is rated E for Everyone.

There's still no word as to when exactly we'll be seeing this on our Virtual Consoles, but rest assured we'll be sure to keep you updated on this new Wii games.
