If you've ever thought that Wii Sports' smorgasbord of athletic events was a bit on the skimpy side, then you might want to check out Hudson Entertainment's very fine-looking title for the Nintendo Wii, Deca Sports.

True to its name, it gives you ten different events to choose from, with them ranging from classics such as Badminton and Soccer to under-represented ones such as Volleyball and Archery. And for the price of US$ 29.99, this might be the deeper, more competitive version of Wii Sports we're looking for.

Looking at this latest gameplay trailer of the game, it definitely looks like a very fair contender for the most immersive sports experience ever since Wii Sports was bundled with the console. Yours truly particularly likes the Badminton even t- the action looks fast-paced and furious, just like in real life. Here's hoping it plays just as well, then.
