Deadly Creatures Delayed - Image 1Bad news from THQ.

Their action thriller game Deadly Creatures for the Wii has been kicked off of its December release window. Santa Claus accidentally swatted the Tarantula with a newspaper and it'll take it some time to recover.

The game will now be released on February. This is the second delay for Deadly Creatures, whose original release date was October 31.

Deadly Creatures is an interesting game you might want to pick up when it finally releases. It's one of those lesser-publicized games that might very well be one of the few gems you can find in the mountain of Wii shovelware.

The game has you playing as a scorpion and a tarantula, battling against other arachnids and insects. It's promisingly dark story continues to unearth a deadly plot involving man. The game is said to push the Wii's capabilities visually. The voice cast will include Billy Bob Thornton and Dennis Hopper, whose characters are looking for something buried in the desert.
