Dead Rising: Chop Til You Drop - Image 1

Capcom has sent out details about Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop's control scheme. The Wii version of the hit Xbox 360 title will feature controls similar to Resident Evil 4, making full use of the Wiimote's motion sensing and painting capabilities.

Players will get to use the Wiimote in different ways depending on what weapon they have equipped. Players can, for example, shake the Wiimote when carrying a baseball bat to increase a gauge and deliver greater amounts of damage.

When armed with a gun, all you have to do is aim and shoot. Zombie weak points are indicated when the targeting reticule turns red. After pumping a full clip into the undead masses, simply shake the Wiimote to reload. Shaking the Wiimote also lets you shake free when a zombie grabs you.

Weapons switching is done via the D-pad. Players can switch up between 4 weapons at any given time. The Nunchuck's analog stick, meanwhile, is used to look. Zooming in and out is done by pressing the Z and C buttons respectively.

Capcom is currently readying Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop for a Winter 2009 release. In the meantime, keep checking back here for more news and updates.
